Seiji Kawamura, born in 1977 in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, began his career as a chef specializing in classical French cuisine.
After refining his culinary skills in Japan, he moved to the Alsace region of France, where he undertook intensive training during his early years.
This foundation set the stage for his entrepreneurial journey in the food and beverage industry, establishing innovative ventures across multiple continents.
Seiji’s career took off with roles at prominent trading firms such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Sumikin Bussan, and Kaijirushi, where he gained valuable expertise in product development and international business operations.
In 2005, he joined Global Dining Inc., where he played a key role in launching a new restaurant in Okinawa. At the age of 29, he became Executive Vice President and Managing Director, overseeing operations in the USA and Macau and spearheading international expansions.
In 2011, Seiji founded IMM Food Service Co. Ltd in Kanazawa, followed by the launch of Moriyama Napoli, an e-commerce platform that quickly amassed 100,000 members. He further demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding Lemonade by LEMONICA in 2017, Japan’s first authentic lemonade specialty brand.
This venture expanded rapidly, and by 2024, the brand operates successfully across Asia, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition to LEMONICA, Seiji is the owner of YAUMAY, a specialty Chinese restaurant located in Tokyo, designed to share the unique flavors of Chinese cuisine with the world. Seiji also founded NAMAIKI, a high-end Edomae sushi restaurant in London.
Continuing his international ventures, in 2024, he launched Wakker B.V. in Amsterdam to introduce TEWATASHI, an Edomae sushi restaurant focused on providing authentic Japanese culinary experiences.
Throughout his career, Seiji has demonstrated resilience and adaptability, navigating challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic while expanding his ventures globally. He remains actively involved in exporting matcha and creating new culinary concepts for global audiences.
With over 30 companies under his leadership, including IT and PR firms that support the food industry, Seiji provides comprehensive business solutions to help others succeed. He also shares his expertise as a lecturer at a culinary school in Kanazawa, inspiring the next generation of chefs.
Currently residing in London, Seiji is dedicated to advancing innovation and promoting global growth in the food and beverage industry.

2017年には、日本初のレモネード専門店「Lemonade by LEMONICA」を設立し、急速に成長させました。
2024年現在、このブランドはアジア、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、中東で成功を収めています。
レモネード事業に加え、河村は東京で中華料理専門店「YAUMAY」のオーナーを務め、世界に向けて中国料理の魅力を発信しています。
また、ロンドンでは高級江戸前寿司店「NAMAIKI」を創業しました。

さらに、2024年にはアムステルダムにWakker B.V.を設立し、江戸前寿司レストラン「TEWATASHI」の展開を開始し、本格的な日本食の体験を提供しています。

COVID-19パンデミックを乗り越え、河村は世界各地で事業を拡大し続け、LEMONICAのプロモーションイベントを主催するなど精力的に活動しています。
また、抹茶の輸出や新たな料理コンセプトの開発にも取り組んでいます。 彼は30社以上の企業を立ち上げ、ITやPR企業を含む包括的なビジネスソリューションを提供しています。
金沢の料理学校では講師として次世代のシェフたちに知識と経験を伝えています。
現在はロンドンに在住し、飲食業界の革新と国際的な成長を目指して邁進しています。
