1. About Hanako
I am a Japanese cultural instructor based in Amsterdam, specializing in matcha (green tea ceremony), calligraphy, and kimono dressing.
My goal is to help people experience the heart of Japanese tradition through hands-on activities that are both relaxing and inspiring.
After studying traditional tea ceremony and calligraphy for over 10 years in Kyoto, I began organizing small workshops for travelers and local residents in Europe.
Each session focuses on mindfulness, aesthetic beauty, and cross-cultural understanding — the essence of omotenashi, Japanese hospitality.
